Behind the scenes of one of our most unusual projects

In March, we were delighted to be asked by North East Lincolnshire Council to take on a local community project; a dual-purpose artistic installation and a receptacle for plastic to be recycled.

There can be no doubt that every person and business has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown and restrictions. As a key service provider to the UK food, energy to waste and petrochemicals sectors, we have continued to operate throughout the lockdown period, albeit under strict guidelines to ensure the safety of our workforce and customers.

Here at Blackrow, we are delighted to announce that we have been asked by the local council to take on one of their local community projects; a dual-purpose artistic installation and a receptacle for plastic to be recycled.

After a period of extensive investment, we are pleased to announce the improvements that the £1M injection has provided Blackrow, and the benefit that it will provide to our clients.

Already catering to a wide client base in sectors from food and pharmaceuticals to power generation and renewables, this latest cycle of investments will allow us to provide an even wider range of design, manufacture, installation and engineering services at an unparalleled level of quality.

As we reported back in April, our very own Electrical Manager Paul Atkinson took on the challenge of Kilimanjaro in aid of The Children’s Hospital Charity. Today we are pleased to announce that he not only conquered the challenge but also raised an impressive sum in aid of the cause.
