The Humber Contractor Competency Forum was formed in 1999 by a group of collaborating clients and supporting contractors to establish and develop high standards of competency for companies and their employees working on the Humber Bank process industry sites.

Blackrow Group supports the aims of the Humber Contractor Competency Forum by improving work systems that contribute to sustained workforce competency.

Established in 1987, PPMA (Processing and Packaging Machinery Association) is the UK’s trade association for suppliers of processing and packaging machinery to both the domestic and overseas market.

Blackrow Group engage in the manufacture or supply of processing or packaging equipment and are a market leader in the food and FMCG sector; therefore making membership of the PPMA a perfect fit.

Blackrow Group hold a Certificate of Conformity of the Factory Production Control 0836-CPR-14/F211. This certification is held with the Regulation 305/2011/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011. This certificate applies to the construction Product: Execution of steel structures and aluminium structures.

The NICEIC Approved Contractor scheme is for electrical contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations to BS 767.

Blackrow Group has been assessed against the requirements of the NICEIC Rules Relating to Enrolment and enrolled as an Approved Contractor.

Along with Alcumus, Blackrow Group are committed to building a better working world for everyone.

Blackorw Group have been awarded the SafeContractor certificate for the ability to subcontract, fabrication services including metal fabrication and welding, Principal Contractor and pressure system services.

Accredited as a contractor within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), Blackrow Group have demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current health and safety legislation.
