Our bead blasting service is used particularly, but not exclusively, by the chemical and food processing industries. We have a blast cabinet with internal dimensions measuring 12m x 5m x 4.25m.
We use glass beads in various grades for surface cleaning, peening, etching or passivation all at the same time. Using different grades of bead we can achieve a variety of surface finishes, but our stock bead will give a general finish of 20 microns. This quality of finish is preferred by food processing company clients, since it provides a high care, hygienic surface. Passivation removes any deposits or weld discolouration, and allows natural oxidation to take place.
